Politek places importance on reducing water usage in our manufacturing facilities and ensuring that the organized industrial zones where our factories are located have water treatment facilities. We are determined to continuously improve water management with a goal of reducing water usage, normalized to production, by 10% by 2030.

Politek focuses on following widely accepted waste management practices. We primarily strive to reuse products or sell them as useful products. We manage our working activities to utilize post-sale recycling or recovery, converting waste to energy, incineration, treatment, or other useful disposal methods. As a result of our eco-friendly and nature-friendly approach, we continuously develop new methods for reusing our materials and keeping them out of landfills. We aim to reduce our solvent recycling use and manufacturing waste ratios by 15% by 2030, normalized to production.

POLITEK product formulations help our customers achieve their sustainability goals. For our automotive repair group customers, we are increasing the number of products that are specially formulated for market use, including water-based and high solid solvent-based liquid coatings with reduced levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Our development work on water-based paints results in products that contain almost no VOCs and targeted hazardous air pollutants.

Water-based and both high and medium solid solvent-based coatings for the automotive repair group reduce VOC emissions.

Our HS and HV coatings are applied at rates much lower than the norms, at 1.5 to 2 times. This means the customer uses less paint, produces fewer emissions to meet environmental goals, and can repair vehicles faster compared to traditional solvent-based products.
